YAY! We're the best!

The City Paper of Baltimore named the little old Charm City Craft Mafia the Best Craft Collective in their Best of Baltimore issue! We all just so proud we could bust. We haven't even been together for a year and already we've pulled off some amazing things. All my mafia members--you are the best!



In other news, I've been busy with my new job, very busy, as you can see from the sparse entries here on the blog. But it's a good busy. I just need to get into a new swing and make time for my crafting. I do have fall and winter fabrics cut and ready to go for bags and scarves and some other new ideas for accessories too.
I've become obsessed with buttons of late. Whenever I find a collection of buttons are a garage sale or flea market, I snap it up. It's so much fun to sift through them all and find some little treasures. I need to educate myself more about buttons, types, periods, material, etc. I have a book that some one recommended to me.
Anyone know of any good websites for button ID?
I also need to figure out something to do with all the not so amazing and standout buttons that I'm amassing while getting to the really good ones. Any ideas for button projects?
